Ir. H. Djuanda Dam is located in Jatiluhur, Purwakarta, West Java. Ir. H. Djuanda Dam is the part of 3 cascade dams (Saguling Dam, Cirata Dam, and Ir. H. Djuanda Dam). Water from Citarum River flows through those 3 dams. Ir. H. Djuanda Dam is managed by Perum Jasa Tirta II (PJT II) which is the state-owned enterprise of Indonesia (called BUMN). Water from Ir. H. Djuanda is used for hydropower, agricultural irrigation, and raw water. Raw water for Jakarta is flowed through West Tarum Canal from Ir. H. Djuanda Dam to water intake of water treatment plant in Buaran, Pulogadung, and Pejompongan. 80% raw water that treated is from Ir. H. Djuanda Dam.
At 29th of August 2016, I had an opportunity to visit main office PJT II and Ir. H. Djuanda Dam at Jatiluhur, Purwakarta. The pictures can be seen at the link below.
